Strategy

Aegis is a Fragilefragile Promptprompt Blockerdefensive unit with heavy cost in Green resourcegreen. It is mostly useful in late game as it does not absorb, so it should be bought only if your opponent has more than Attack5 attack.

Aegis is particularly efficient against Chillchill and is moderately efficient against flexible attack like Scorchilla, as it does not have a limited LifespanLifespan (unlike Plexo Cell).

Getting Health5 fragile health for 5Goldgold is great gold value (compared to Wall, which is 5Gold for Health3) but it is fragile which means it should be combined with non-fragile defensive units. Aegis is rather inefficient blocker when it comes to technology because you are spending Green resourceGreen resourceGreen resource for Health5 while a Forcefield only costs Green resource for Health2.

Unlike Forcefield and Plexo Cell, Aegis does not consume any drones, so it doesn't hurt your economy.
