Green resource

Green resource (also known as Gaussite) is a crystalline resource used to purchase units each turn. It is also used to power some abilities.

Green units are high technology units typically involving forcefield, energy weapons, or other energy-based phenomena.

Like gold and unlike the other resources, unspent green resource is not lost between turns.

Green units tend to have a high amount of HP for their gold cost, with the tradeoff of fragility or lifespan. The core economic unit itself, the conduit, gives 3 HP for only 4 gold, which is the most efficient health you can buy from the base set without any technology cost. Mono-green attackers, with the exception of Fission Turret, all have very high health. However, the more expensive (and efficient) attackers have less HP per point of attack. For example, Zemora Voidbringer, the highest attacking single green unit in the game, has 20 HP for 8 points of attack, whereas 8 Gauss Cannons would have 40 HP for the same amount of attack. Mono-green defenders are very efficient defenders, but can never absorb. Thus, they are often paired with blue unit absorbers like Wall for maximum value. Some even have 1 to trade off their efficiency, making them weak against Chill or units that can be used for something else if not attacking. They also have relatively high tech costs. Aegis requires 3 green for 5 HP, and Plexo Cell requires 2 green for 4 HP, which is one more tech cost than the (more expensive) blue units with the same amount of HP.

Green Resource Generating Units

Part of the basic set, the conduit is the most common unit that generates green resource. It generates one at the start of every turn.
